Zeinoun Nabulsi was awarded in October 2011 the Takreem Social Media Award for his video on Donner Sang Compter. The contest aimed to get young social media users, bloggers and internet savy people to come to the American University of Beirut and work for two hours to come up with a presentation about a candidate to TAKREEM’s ten different categories using social media.
Zeinoun Nabulsi decided to present Donner Sang Compter, a Lebanese NGO that aims to secure blood donations from the people to the people. He won the 1st prize at that event.
In the video, the author interviewed many people and asked them if they know about Donner Sang Compter. Each individual explained, in the interview, how he found out about DSC and what he knew about the NGO.
The video was then posted to youtube and Zeinoun was awarded the first prize of the contest.
