Sitting on the outskirts of Beirut, Al Naqab⏤created in 2013⏤strives to provide a safe haven for Palestinian children and adolescents.

Lasting for around five hours, the day flourished with the painting of walls, cleansing of rooms, categorization of books⏤all in which the heartwarming children assisted⏤and of course games to bring smiles not only their faces but also our own.

Moreover, we spent a good 15 to 30 minutes discussing the importance of blood donation, a session that left everyone intrigued to venture opinions on matters dealing with e.g. “What is the minimum age at which one may donate blood?” Those near to the age of 18 expressed determination to save 3 lives when the time comes.

Music in the air, cameras freezing moments of joy and excitement in frame, and positive energy flowing in and out of the institution, there is a sense of assurance that those wouldn’t be the last footprints we leave in memory of our relationship with Al Naqab.
